KELP BEACH

Our untamed summer has created some beautiful skyscapes, wild walks on the beach and exhilarating swimming. These from Roaring Beach, on a visit to Peter Adams, say a little bit about the beauty of Tasmania. And that hill with the circles says a lot about the ability of humans to transform landscape. When I was a girl that headland where Peter has planted all those trees (middle photo) was a yellowed hill worn down by sheep farming. In twenty years its almost completely revegetated.
